Braden Marthaller posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Toledo is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-5 otherwise.
