Keyser had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They really took it to the John Marshall Monarchs for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-13 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Golden Tornado had established a 39-point advantage.

Keyser's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Brafford led the charge by rushing for 62 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 167 yards and three TDs on only 12 passes. Another back making a difference was Michael Poland, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.
