Volleyball Recap: Christian Takes a Loss

Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Southwest SD Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Jack Swanson paced Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Swanson got some help from Brody Schendel and his 12 assists. Trae Pheasant controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Southwest SD now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Christian will face off against Calvin Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest SD, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Escondido Charter on the 1st.
