Softball Recap: Corner Canyon Chargers vs. Lone Peak Knights
Corner Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell just short of the Lone Peak Knights by a score of 9-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Corner Canyon of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Olivia Broderick was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-4 with four RBI, a triple, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Bently Paynter, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and a triple.
