Volleyball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Waynesville. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Waynesville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Lucy Weibel paced Valley View's offense, picking up 13 kills. Weibel got some help from Lucy Shell and her 22 assists. Weibel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Waynesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Valley View and West Liberty-Salem will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waynesville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dunbar at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
