Volleyball Recap: Carey Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carey and Rockland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Carey had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Abbi Whittier paced Carey's offense, picking up ten kills. Whittier got some help from Madison Hoskins and her 19 assists. Finally, Whittier was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Carey has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for Rockland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Carey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockland, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Genesee on the 1st.
