Football Recap: Fort Knox Takes a Loss

After flying high against Thomas Nelson last Friday, Fort Knox came back down to earth. The Eagles took a blow against the Shawnee Golden Eagles on Friday, falling 48-6. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jaylen Irish threw for 86 yards on five of 11 attempts. Brandon Hawkins was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.

Fort Knox now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Shawnee, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Fort Knox wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 36-20 win against Waggener on the 26th. As for Shawnee, they have also already played their next matchup, a 41-0 defeat against Danville on the 26th.
