Volleyball Game Preview: Chapman Panthers vs. Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers

The Chapman Panthers will take on the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chapman has three straight wins, Blue Ridge has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Chapman beat Broome 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge came up short against Chesnee on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Chapman's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1.

Chapman was able to grind out a solid win over Blue Ridge when the teams last played back in August, winning 3-1. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Fighting Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
