Basketball Game Preview: Florida Christian Patriots vs. Gulliver Prep Raiders

Having just played yesterday, the Florida Christian Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Gulliver Prep Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Florida Christian was beaten by Schoolhouse Prep 75-7. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Wolfpack are ranked 128th).

Meanwhile, Gulliver Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Immaculata-La Salle on Monday, taking the game 54-45.

Gulliver Prep is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Florida Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Florida Christian came up short against Gulliver Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, falling 60-52. Can Florida Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
