Baseball Recap: Tekamah-Herman Tigers vs. Louisville Lions
Tekamah-Herman extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 20 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-12 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Louisville Lions. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 13-4 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Lane Loftis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
As for Louisville, their record now sits at 4-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since March 19, 2024.
On Louisville's side, their win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cole Gissler, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
