Softball Recap: Reed-Custer Beats Prairie Central for Their Third Straight Victory

Reed-Custer extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 12-15 in the process. They skirted past the Prairie Central Hawks 5-3. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

As for Prairie Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 15th.

For Prairie Central's part, Jules Woodrey was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Kyah Creek, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Reed-Custer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prairie Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pontiac at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
