Baseball Recap: Sacramento Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sacramento's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Vanden Vikings on Tuesday. The Dragons' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 13 in a row.

Sacramento saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Darius Jenkins, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Sacramento's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Vanden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Looking ahead, Vanden will take on Sutter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sacramento will be paying especially close attention to the Vikings' matchup: after the Vikings face off against the Huskies, they'll take on Sacramento again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
