It was a good run, but Natrona County unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Kelly Walsh Trojans by a score of 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Mustangs have suffered since February 23, 2024.

Mason Eager was the offensive standout of the matchup as he posted 15 points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Natrona County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Kelly Walsh, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
