Legacy Academy came tearing into  Thursday's  match with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles to the tune of  72-23. The Silverbacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  games by 27  points or more this season.
Legacy Academy was led to victory by  Bryant Scales and  Landon Gates.  Scales  went 7 for 14  en route to 18  points and three  steals, while  Gates  went 6 of 7  on his way to 16 points in addition to six  boards and three  steals. Those 16  points gave  Gates a new career-high.  Dallas Baca was another key player,  putting up six points along with six  assists and four  steals.
 Legacy Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 17  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in seven consecutive  contests.
