Basketball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

Montgomery lost against Lake Creek back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Montgomery Bears fell 61-48 to the Lake Creek Lions.

Caden Puckett was a one-man wrecking crew for Lake Creek as he went 9 for 14 on his way to 25 points. Puckett has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Jeremiah Mcshan was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Lake Creek, their record now sits at 13-14.

Montgomery will challenge College Station at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Creek, they will face off against Huntsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
