Volleyball Recap: Skyridge Falls Short of Corner Canyon in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Skyridge couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Corner Canyon Chargers on Thursday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Skyridge still got an impressive performance from Estelle Slaney, who had 18 digs. Slaney has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Corner Canyon can attribute much of their success to Faith Kittel, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Kittel has posted since back in September.

Skyridge's defeat dropped their record down to 27-3. As for Corner Canyon, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-6.

As of now, neither Skyridge nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
