Volleyball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bad Axe Hatchets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hatchets this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in August.

Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 7-14-3. As for Bad Axe, they moved to 24-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Sandusky wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Croswell-Lexington on the 18th. As for Bad Axe, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Armada on the 18th.
