Volleyball Recap: Cypress Park Comes Up Short

Cypress Park had lost nine straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 7-25 to make it ten. They lost 3-0 to the Langham Creek Lobos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

As for Langham Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-24. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 7-25 Cypress Park and 11-26 Cypress Springs.

Leading Langham Creek to victory were Paola Fernandez and Juliette Coleman. Fernandez had eight digs and five aces, while Coleman had 15 assists and six digs. Those five aces gave Fernandez a new career-high.

Cypress Park has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cypress Springs on the 17th. As for Langham Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Waller on the 17th.
