Recap: Hun Raiders vs. Perkiomen School Panthers
Even though the Perkiomen School Panthers scored an imposing 62 points on Wednesday, the Hun Raiders still came out on top. Hun escaped with a win against Perkiomen School by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hun.
Leading Hun to victory were Anna Schweer and Gabby D'Agostino. Schweer scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds, while D'Agostino scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which D'Agostino has scored at least 25% of Hun's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addi McNally, who scored 5 points.
Hun's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Perkiomen School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Hun will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Perkiomen School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hill School at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
