Baseball Recap: Dorsey Comes Up Short

Dorsey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rancho Dominguez Lobos, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Dorsey's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Rancho Dominguez, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Dorsey will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Gabriel at 3:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Rancho Dominguez, they will take on Animo Robinson in a tournament on Saturday. The Monarchs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.86 runs per game on average), something the Lobos will no doubt try to take advantage of.
