After failing to score in their last contest, Clear Lake made sure to put some goals up on the board against Dickinson on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Dickinson Gators. Considering the Falcons' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Dickinson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lauren Barrera led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Clear Lake's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Dickinson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Lake will venture away from home to challenge Deer Park at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deer Park will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Clear Lake surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dickinson, they will square off against Brazoswood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
