Volleyball Recap: Parkland Comes Up Short

Parkland saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Penfield Patriots by a score of 1-0.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Parkland sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-11.

Kasia Burda paced Parkland's offense, picking up three kills. Burda got some help from Alex Serina and her four assists.

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Penfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkland will welcome Nazareth Area at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Penfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Webster Thomas at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
