Football Game Preview: Mark Twain vs. Clopton/Elsberry

On Friday Mark Twain take on Clopton/Elsberry at 7:00 PM. Mark Twain are limping into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Mark Twain came within a touchdown against Van-Far/Community last Friday, but wound up with a 21-28 loss. Mark Twain got a solid performance out of junior Jace Barton, who rushed for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.

Meanwhile, Clopton/Elsberry have to be aching after a bruising 20-42 loss to South Callaway.

Mark Twain simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Clopton/Elsberry 59-14. Will Mark Twain repeat their success, or does Clopton/Elsberry have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
