East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Paul Robeson Huskies at home by a 72-56 margin. One positive for the Vikings, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Paul Robeson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kobe Butler out in front who went 8 for 15 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds. Jasir Tyler was another key player, going 7 of 8 on his way to 14 points along with eight steals and seven assists.

East's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paul Robeson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-33 defeat against Coatesville on the 17th. Paul Robeson has also already played their next matchup, an 80-70 win against Penn Wood on the 16th.
