Softball Recap: Culver Community Gets the Win

While Culver Community's win against DeMotte Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavaliers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Knights on Thursday. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Aiden Molebash made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abigayle Zehner, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Hayden Lute, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Culver Community lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2025.
