Basketball Game Preview: Red Oak Eagles vs. Leflore Savages

Red Oak has gone 8-2 against Leflore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Oak Eagles will challenge the Leflore Savages at 6:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Red Oak came up short against Howe and fell 66-54.

Meanwhile, Leflore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Panama and fell 64-17. While losing is never fun, the Savages can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while the Razorbacks are ranked 68th).

Red Oak's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Leflore, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything came up roses for Red Oak against Leflore in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 73-38 win. Will Red Oak repeat their success, or does Leflore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
