Basketball Recap: Spring Lake Park Takes a Loss

Spring Lake Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 73-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mounds View Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-52 back in February.

Spring Lake Park's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Mounds View, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Spring Lake Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mounds View, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 72-66 defeat against Champlin Park on the 7th.
