Softball Recap: Boyceville Comes Up Short

Boyceville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.11 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Boyceville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Baldwin-Woodville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Boyceville will challenge Regis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ramblers have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. Baldwin-Woodville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
