MaxPreps/NSCAA High School State Players of the Week for April 25-May 1, 2016

MaxPreps, the online high school sports leader and The National Soccer Coaches Association of America team up to honor the nation's best. (Week of 4/25-5/1)

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and MaxPreps have named the High School State Players of the Week for April 25-May 1.

The NSCAA uses results and statistics provided by MaxPreps.com to select one boy and one girl honoree competing during the spring high school season (February-June).

Coaches wanting to nominate their players must submit statistics to MaxPreps.com in order for their athletes to be considered; nomination instructions can be found below. Winners receive a MaxPreps/NSCAA branded letterman's patch and recognition on both MaxPreps.com and NSCAA.com.

Nominations are due every Sunday by at 11:59 p.m. ET each week to be considered.

About the MaxPreps/NSCAA High School Player of the Week Program:

The MaxPreps/NSCAA High School Player of the Week Program is a partnership between the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and CBS MaxPreps, Inc. Each week MaxPreps and the NSCAA recognize deserving student-athletes at the high school level who have demonstrated outstanding play on the field throughout the week of competition. Coaches must submit statistics to MaxPreps.com in order for their athletes to be considered for the program.

MaxPreps is a free stat tool that is available to high school coaches across the country and is one of the most recognized and respected high school athletics web sites on the internet. Coaches who enter their team's stats on MaxPreps by Sunday night will not only be automatically nominating their players for this award, but they will be getting their team's information out to thousands of high school sports fans, as well as college coaches across the country.
