Volleyball Recap: Lookout Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lookout Valley lost against Notre Dame back in August of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellowjackets fell 2-0 to the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame can attribute much of their success to Madden Cothron, who had seven aces and three digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Karley Nutz, who had eight digs.

Lookout Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Notre Dame, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Looking ahead, Lookout Valley will look to defend their home court on Monday against Marion County at 6:30 p.m. As for Notre Dame, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on the 20th.
