Softball Recap: The Bay School Breakers vs. Redwood Christian Eagles
The Bay School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-4 to the Redwood Christian Eagles. If the Breakers were looking for revenge after losing 18-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The Bay School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Paves, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Deleena Magan was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
The Bay School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Redwood Christian, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.
Looking ahead, The Bay School will be playing at home against Urban at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give The Bay School their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. California School for the Deaf has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something Redwood Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of.
