Springfield had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Rossview Hawks as they made off with a 32-6 victory. The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Springfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaidon Hurst, who rushed for 182 yards while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Kason Woodson was another key passer, throwing for 93 yards and a pair of TDs.

Coming up, Springfield will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rossview, they will head out to take on Kirkwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
