Basketball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Asheboro Blue Comets + How To Watch

The Thomasville Bulldogs will square off against the Asheboro Blue Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheboro took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Thomasville, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Thomasville beat Glenn 67-63.

Zy'Iveon Holmes had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds. Danarius Gibson was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Thomasville was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They posted six more assists than Glenn's also-impressive total of ten.

Meanwhile, Asheboro came up short against Northwest Guilford on Monday and fell 65-56. The loss put an end to the Blue Comets' undefeated start to the season.

The win got Thomasville back to even at 1-1. As for Asheboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Everything went Thomasville's way against Asheboro in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as Thomasville made off with a 76-56 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Blue Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
