After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Poolville, Alvord was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Keene Chargers with a sharp 20-1 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matches by more than 11 runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Alvord has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. Keene is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Alvord has already played their next game, a 20-2 win against Keene on the 8th. As for Keene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Millsap on the 8th.
