The Eastside Eagles will square off against the Spartanburg Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Eastside and five for Spartanburg.

Eastside is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 15-10 to Southside Christian on Wednesday. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Kayden Vinson led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Addison Lowery, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Spartanburg lost 17-8 to Riverside on Tuesday.
