Basketball Recap: Cranston West's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Cranston West won the last time they faced Middletown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cranston West Falcons came out on top against the Middletown Islanders by a score of 55-45. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cranston West's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Middletown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranston West and Shea will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Middletown, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Chariho at 6:30 p.m. Middletown is facing Chariho at the right time seeing as Chariho is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
