Volleyball Recap: Beaver Island Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Beaver Island, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Islanders also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Beaver Island's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-8-1. As for Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Beaver Island has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Mackinaw City on the 31st. As for Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Maplewood Baptist Academy on the 3rd.
