Softball Recap: Waldron Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Waldron can now relate to. They came up short against the Morristown Yellow Jackets on Monday, falling 15-4. The loss leaves the Mohawks still looking for their first win of the season.

Alexis Rogers was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Morristown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-10.

Waldron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morristown, they will take on South Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
