Football Game Preview: Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights vs. General Brown Lions

Bishop Ludden is 0-4 against General Brown since October of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Gaelic Knights will host the Lions at 6:30 p.m.

Things were looking good for Bishop Ludden after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Solvay. The Gaelic Knights were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Bearcats in the fourth quarter 8-0.

Meanwhile, General Brown put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 69-7 win over Little Falls. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Mounties are ranked 413th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Ludden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for General Brown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
