Baseball Recap: Coleville Comes Up Short at Home Against Mineral County

Coleville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mineral County Serpents on Saturday, falling 20-5. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Serpents when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coleville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Watson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Mineral County now has a winning record of 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mineral County beat Coleville by a score of 18-0 later that day.
