Basketball Recap: Stover Comes Up Short

Stover was the 57-44 winner over Northwest when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Stover Bulldogs fell 49-37 to the Northwest Mustangs on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stover's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stover will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Otterville at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. As for Northwest, they will take on Kingsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kingsville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Northwest likes a good challenge.
