Basketball Recap: Tomball Takes a Loss

Tomball lost against Magnolia back in November of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tomball Cougars took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Magnolia Bulldogs. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Tomball's record now sits at 8-10. As for Magnolia, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-13.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tomball Cougars challenge the Waco Lions on Friday. As for Magnolia, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Magnolia West at 1:00 p.m. on December 31st. Magnolia is facing Magnolia West at the right time seeing as Magnolia West is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
