Basketball Recap: Coral Academy of Science - Reno Comes Up Short

Coral Academy of Science - Reno was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Battle Mountain Longhorns and fell 58-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-17 back in December of 2024.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Battle Mountain, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Oasis Academy the next time they take the court. Coral Academy of Science - Reno will host Oasis Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Battle Mountain will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
