Soccer Recap: Walled Lake Western Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Walled Lake Western's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeland Eagles on Monday. Walled Lake Western have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walled Lake Western's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 2-2-1. As for Lakeland, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Walled Lake Western is set to take on their familiar foe Walled Lake Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lakeland will face off against rival Mott at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
