Football Recap: West Cabarrus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 41 points the game before, West Cabarrus was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They took a 20-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the A.L. Brown Wonders. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wonders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Johnta Harrison threw for 83 yards and one TD. Jayden Reid was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.

A.L. Brown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was AJ Settles out in front who threw for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Lemar Grier helped Settles out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards and one score.

West Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for A.L. Brown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

As of now, neither West Cabarrus nor A.L. Brown have any future games scheduled.
