Soccer Recap: Judson Comes Up Short

Judson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Canyon Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Cougars are ranked 159th).

Judson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15-1. As for Canyon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6-6.

Looking ahead, Judson will venture away from home to square off against Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Judson has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Canyon, they will square off against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steele is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
