Quincy hadn't done well against Moline recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Blue Devils walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Maroons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Quincy never let Moline on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-21.

Quincy's offense was headlined by Madison Loos and Mady Marquardt, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kristin Damon and her eight assists. Madelyn Hamby controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win made it two in a row for Quincy and bumps their season record up to 26-5. As for Moline, they moved to 11-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Quincy will face off against rival Alleman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Moline is set to take on their familiar foe Geneseo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
