Basketball Game Preview: Bath County Chargers vs. Narrows Green Waves

Bath County hasn't had much luck against Narrows recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bath County Chargers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Narrows Green Waves at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Bath County ended up a good deal behind Highland and lost 55-37.

Meanwhile, Narrows made easy work of Highland on Monday and carried off a 77-52 win. The Green Waves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Narrows has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Bath County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Bath County was taken down by Narrows 82-43 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Narrows' Carter Holmes, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
