Woodland won the last time they faced Hockinson and things went their way on Monday too. The Beavers put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 25-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Woodland got a massive performance out of Alexis Alpanalp, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Alpanalp a new career-high. Lexi Manalili was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Woodland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are 9-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
