Softball Game Preview: Ridgeview Christian Crusaders vs. Temple Christian Crusaders

Ridgeview Christian hasn't had much luck against Temple Christian recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Ridgeview Christian will host Temple Christian at 4:30 p.m. Ridgeview Christian will be strutting in after a win while Temple Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Ridgeview Christian barely beat Westover Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crusaders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 22-0 shutout last Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Temple Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Miller School of Albemarle by a score of 3-1.

Temple Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Camden, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

The win got Ridgeview Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Temple Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
